Syim

Syim (Toli pron.: /sʏjm/) is the unicameral parliament of Aprux Mexyrhat consisting of 235 Mesirhes. It was formed in 1420 A.Dyr. after the Faxhylan of 1417, and is the only administrative power in the country. The Syim is also tasked with choosing the next Mexyrfax.

Elections

The Syim is elected by all citizens of Aprux Mexyrhat every 4 years. 161 seats are elected by Erme (commune) residents (each Erme has 1 representative), 72 seats are elected by all Kiser (province) residents, and 2 seats have special status - 1 is assigned to the current Mexyrfax, and 1 is vaccant to commemorate the disapearence of Ionis. This brings the total number of seats to 235 (233 able to vote, 2 unable to vote).

Each Syim begins with a vote of confidence for the current Mexyrfax. Upon failing to reach an approval rating of more than 50%, the Syim votes to choose the next Mexyrfax.

For three years since the election of 1498 A.dyr., the leading party is the socialist Apsutiali Kirahit, with 27 Mesirhes'. There are then five other parties, from most to least amount of seats: Koituras (11)(conservative), Tibatgho u Kjawkeghzav uetrogh (6)(Tibatgho and Kiykwizani independence movements), Mersiunites (3)(broad political views; trying to remove Aleksanetra of Perhyh from office and instaling Mersiun Horim of Kyfes), Et (2)(Enviormental) and Thyf (1)(the straight-up evil guys).

Locations of the Syim over the years

There have been seventeen diffrent Syim locations since 1423 A.Dyr, some of the most notable ones being a past Perhyh pub (7 election cycles), a ship (1 election cycle) and, for 8 days, on a field near Neuti, Tiban Province.

Currently, the Syim operates in a temporary place in Eria, Molius-Par Province, waiting for the plan to build the Mexyrhat Complex.
