Palontana 47 (Rokadong:  Palontana115[1] /pàˈlɔ́ntɐ̂ná ˈákî ˈtánɐ̂/) is a news station that broadcasts from Pomegapola, Rauratoshan.

Etymology

Palontana is the name of one of the kingdoms surrounding Rauratoshan in its source world, whose capital is Pomegapola.

The name Palontana 47 is a reference to the analog and digital horror internet series local58.

Activities

Like the Selshan Digest, Palontana 47 focuses on strange and occult phenomena. However, while the Selshan Digest's diviners worship Nuiceta, Palontana 47 researchers usually, although not always, support Kuvilayu, said to have brought language to the mortal world. This is not entirely abnormal in Fitárvi, as linking knowledge to the moon and figures associated with the moon is commonplace.

Regardless, as a result, messaging regarding lunar phenomena has been a regular occurrence on Palontana 47's network. Notably, this included a precursor broadcast to the crashing of the Maeksikeo, entirely in Lunarian. It has since been proven to be propaganda produced with the seal of approval of Tukisaɟa's queen. Multiple other Lunarian videos have made it onto the platform, such as a video showing the brown dwarf Asjipara turning a cartoon skeleton and his world into a horrifying landscape the skeleton would sooner die again than experience, ostensibly a fairy tale about going outside when the Iron Eye is alone in the sky.

The Madness Multiverse Mansion's Office of Lunacy has investigated the station to see if there were Tukisaɟan moles using Palontana 47 to influence the Rauratoshanian public. However, other MMM members think this is a cover story invented by the Office of Lunacy themselves in order to hide the fact they were the ones who sent the broadcast. Neither Office of Lunacy members nor Palontana 47 staff remember sending the message.

  1. Although when written in full or spoken, the title uses seximal like the rest of Rokadong, the logo uses decimal, like the source language for Liðakuin numerals, likely because it fits better alongside the first syllable of Palontana in the logo.
