Patra, officially the Duchy of Patra (Śácamþaśá: qmiLjISo nrAtpa Pátran Śájełmiq, Jutish: Heertochdom Patra) is a country in Thasusa bordering the Hilja sea and a far-flung maritime territory of Maraśa in the west,Xarslasja in the south and east, and the Tanzangi colony of Mosas in the north. Though it has its own government, it is ruled under a real union with the Kingdom of Jotlond, together forming the Jutish Realm, and the Jutish Parliament has ultimate authority over their laws and constitution. The day to day functions of the head of state are typically performed by a viceroy appointed by and acting on behalf of the Jutish Monarch.
Footnotes
- ↑ Patra has two official state flags: the Union flag (Jutish: Ferênigingsflag), and the Ríksflag which is identical to the state flag of Jotlond. Also to note, the banner of Patra never appears in isolation, it must always be beside a banner of the Realm.
