The Raid

The Raid, The Attack or The Grief are common names given to the server raid on 13 November 2023 that lead to the destruction of several settlements, including the Capitol, The Citadel, Nerven, Nguhtropolis, Phoeŋix and Port Marcy. Since The Raid happened during a time where Nguhcraft was unpopular, nobody was online to witness or stop it. The raiders left a couple of messages, including racist slurs, in the Minecraft Server Chat. This has sparked a wave of migration and the founding of new settlements, such as Kyaw Cen City and Yuɱa, though most destroyed settlements hadn't been inhabited in months or even years anyway. Alongside the raid destroying much of the physical history of the server, it also destroyed many of its institutions and systems such as the Slab Exchange and the Old Kingdom, which were once great influences on the northern hemisphere.
