The Old Kingdom, contemporaneously referred to as "Nguhtropolis", was the original political order of the current Minecraft world of the Land of Nguh. Technically all the lands occupied by human players from late 2021 until The Raid in November 2023 were all part of the Old Kingdom and participated in the construction and development of the Five-Village Network, except for the few players who occupied distant lands in the southern hemisphere. The Kingdom fell after the Raid, leaving behind the surviving structures, railways, and most of the Warps that persisted until the high speed railways of Cenrail were completed.

Its economy was centered around the Slab Exchange, and accordingly its currency was the Slab.
Those who followed through from the previous world feared and revered an entity called Rabo.
History
The inhabitants of Cuba in the Old World had been living well under the rule of KateThePanPlate, and conditions began to stagnate without threats from the mysterious forces of the Acolytes. When Minecraft version 1.17 was released, the remaining players wanted to experience the new systems of terrain generation and cave biomes. It was decided unanimously to create a new world, and for only very limited items and structures to be brought into the new world.
When the players entered this new world, they set out to find a convenient set of villages that could be unified into a single metropolitan area. This location would become the Five-Village Network, and with that the Old Kingdom was born. While the "Penta-Village Loop" railroad and the floating Horse Highway were being constructed, there was demand for a currency to be introduced. Ætérnal created the Slab Exchange on the tall peak at the center of the Five-Village Network as a regulatory body and treasury for the standard material of value, the Petrified Oak Slab, or simply "Slab."
In the later days of the Old Kingdom, mysterious acts of vandalism began to appear on and near the Penta-Village Loop, most of which was bothersome damage to the railway itself. This led the director of the Penta-Village Loop project, Saithe, to abandon the old Kingdom and move to an isolated location to the northeast.
Finally, in November 2023, after much of Nguhtropolis and the Old Kingdom had been abandoned and disbanded in all but formality, The Raid occurred. Unwelcome invaders to the world entered and damaged locations near warps, including Warp Nguhtropolis. Much of the city was burned down, items stolen, and other inappropriate actions were committed against the players. By then, several new nations had already begun development closer to the Spawn, and a new era had begun.
