Borders of Bad to the Land

Bad to the Land, named after the 1982 song Bad to the Bone due to its badlands biome, is the furthest territory of Coldba (Cuba), located in the northern desert tip of Tardigradia. Bad to the Land was originally claimed by the Realm of Madness under Suwi, but gifted it to Coldba, then under the reign of KateThePanPlate.

The motto of Bad to the Land is the riff from Bad to the Bone.

History

Bad to the Land was claimed due to the increasing rarity of free sand in the ŋorld. Larger ŋations becan claiming what few deserts the ŋorld had, which was not helped by the Ŋəri2na Reserve which had prohibited any access to the ŋorld's largest desert. At this time, Bad to the Land neighbored only Tsiccengair, a now-defunct ŋation, on its northwest side which had expressed interest in establishing a terracotta monopoly. Bad to the Land was meant to remain closed until there were no more wild deserts from crowding, whereupon it would be open to the public to mine for free.

Bad to the Land was eventually given to Coldba (Cuba) as part of the Realm of Madness' downsizing during its Srenovations Period. Under Coldba, Bad to the Land was expanded to include a greater amount of sand to the east and opened all of its eastern territory to the public. Coldba later became a FERRA member because of Bad to the Land's proximity.

After Ann was replaced with Suwi as leader of Coldba, Suwi opened all of Bad to the Land for public use.

Residents

Ea-nāṣir was given immediate citizenship to the Realm of Madness and now lives in Bad to the Land, continuing his business of selling low-quality copper.

Bad to the Land Anthem

On June 27th, 2025, Suwi wrote a parody of Bad to the Bone referencing mining and using resources from Bad to the Land. The lyrics are as follows:
