Jay Okamiyu (Kaipanese: Jei Okamiyu /dʒei̯ ˈo.ka.ˌmi.jɯ/) is a Kaipanese politician, the current leader of the Kaipanese Progressive Canine Party (Kaipanese: Kaipa me Kujebe Inuco te Kotoe /ˈkai̯.pa me kɯ.ˈʒe.be i.ˈnɯ.ʃo te ˈko.toe̯/), and the fourth Prime Minister of the Republic of Kaipa.

Jay was born on September 9th, 1992, in the town of Búbayo, now a suburb of Neryu City.
Political Career

Jay studied political science at the University of Kaipa in Neryu City, graduating in the spring of 2014. After graduation, they applied and were accepted as a member of the Kaipanese Progressive Canine Party, running for their local town senate. They were elected to the Búbayo senate in December of 2014.
In 2020, they announced their intention to run for Prime Minister of the Republic of Kaipa, against then-PM Takei Hawamigei. During the 2023 election cycle, they stepped down from their position in their local senate to prepare for their campaign. They won the December 2025 Prime Minister election with 59.2% of the popular vote, officially becoming the fourth PM of the Republic of Kaipa.
