Jodai Wemmi

Jodai Wemmi is a politician from the Bezuvate of Xarslasja.

She has been a representative from Gila County in the Xarslasja Legislature since Gu Sabah's defeat in early 2025, became the Speaker of the House in October 2025, and was removed from office in April 2026.

After passing the Absentia Statute, she gained a vital tie-breaking vote on important measures relating to the apportionment of new seats in the Legislature following the Census Rush while the Bezuv was missing.

After the discovery that the Bezuv had died (or at least vanished) from the Hacking Plague, Wemmi and the nation's Akuv, Ngu (slave to creativity), became the two de facto heads of a transitional government at the end of February 2026. With no heir to the Bezuv's throne, the transitional government under Wemmi put forth measures to keep the federal government functioning for the long term, but various counties continued exercising further autonomous authority.

After attempting to keep the government functioning by relegating the roles of the Bezuv to herself and the Akuv, national protest, and an incursion into Pua by residents of Santa Cruz County, ensued. After weeks of chaos, she was removed from office by a vote of the Legislature on April 1st, 2026. Enraged and dismayed, she defected to Pua.
