Missing Journalists, formerly Kathyria News, is a news organization originally founded by Queen Awesome of Kathyria. After the fall of Kathyria, it shifted focus from local and national stories to Fortsanaphat-related events.

Controversies

As Kathyria News

Kathyria News was frequently accused of being "antithetical to Kathyrian democracy" as a result of being state-run. Queen Awesome denied any involvement in the organization beyond founding it, and no evidence to the contrary has been discovered. However, it had occasionally shown political bias for the Kathyria Tomorrow Party, even skewing elections in its favor. It had also advocated for gerrymandering in favor of said party.

Queen Awesome herself came out against the organization for its political influence. This naturally became a large controversy in Kathyria, with the people split between supporting the Queen and the contemporary President.

Non-Kathyrians also observed frequent misandry. At times it was subtle, though it was usually quite obvious. Misandry was quite common in Kathyrian culture, particularly nearing its end. However, most Kathyrians weren't quite as blatant about it as Kathyria News. In fact, many weren't consciously aware of it.

Kathyria News had also gained a reputation for expansionist propaganda, especially after the annexation of Hanebrug.

As Missing Journalists

The transition from Kathyrian news to Fortsanaphat news alienated many readers. However, it was in this transition that the organization saw the most new readers. Additionally, readers noticed less propaganda and less misandry.

Kween K. Auce of Fortsanaphat has frequently accused Missing Journalists of being racist towards Fortsa people. Recently, the organization has come out and fired one of its writers, alleging him to be racist.
