Ruviyatangan is a small town on Naho Island, with only six buildings, the RTS Loop station, and a port for small boat traffic.

Etymology

"Ruviyatangan" comes from the Rokadong words ruvi (ink), yatang (sword), and the Rokadong circumfix fer~an (place).

The Ruviyatang is a mythical weapon, a magical brush wielded by the Yukacan deity Selshan Téraza Téshika Télíta, and Ruviyatangan is said to be where this weapon was forged.

Structures

Ruviyatang has four small houses, the Ruviyatangan Ŋorld-Herald office (which also contains the Selshan Digest), and the Madness Multiverse Missionary building, as well as a town square with a food stand. The Zanmalaté Observatory is usually also included as a Ruviyatangan building, though it is partially managed by the Rauratoshan Royal Academy.

Economy

Astronomy

Much of the economic pull of Murya is based around its observatory. People may enter the observatory for one Minecraft night at a fee of ₻32 (one-quarter slab. The observatory, though not necessary for the observation, is also the site upon which the observations required for the Rokaselan calendar are announced.

Publishing

Ruviyatangan also is the premier publisher of Rauratoshanian astrology, and beyond this, Rauratoshanian non-royal publishing in general either comes from this island or Island of Perscriptivism. In contrast to this island as well as the Royal Academy, Muryan publishers' writing restrictions tend not to be super strict. Writers from across the ŋation both write into and cite the Ruviyatangan Ŋorld-Herald for news stories. However, the lax writing rules do mean that sometimes, stories are only published in one language, something which the Rauratoshan Royal Academy's publishing house guarantees will not happen with their publications.

Minigames of Rauratoshan

Murya Island also holds a Minigame of Rauratoshan. However, it functions slightly differently to other minigames. In keeping with the themes of astrology and publication, the "minigame" here is actually a magic 8-ball in the office of the Selshan Digest; paying the 8-ball ₻1 will grant you the answer to a yes-or-no question. The answer given by the 8-ball can also be confirmed with the diviners on staff for an additional ₻1.

History

Murya Island first started to be built in-game on December 30, 2024. The base for the observatory was the first building to be started.
