New Gotland
New Gotland is a province in the southern region of Coldba (Cuba). It consists of two archipelagos, the New Gotland archipelago and the much smaller Lithea archipelago. New Gotland named after the capitol of Sweden-Ŋərway from Season 1 due to their similarity in geography and relation to Cuba. The New gotland archipelagos were first Murbetian territory, but was acquired by Coldba (Cuba) during the Scramble for Murbetia. There is little development on the islands apart from some wooden bridges connecting some of them and the North Visby Archrail station. For placeholder names, the large islands in the archipelagos have proper names, but small islands get letter+number names (except Faeran, which is not a placeholder name).
New Gotland Archipelago
The New Gotland archipelago is mostly a plains biome with many beaches and a small forest on the island of Lesbos. The archipelago consists of mostly large islands spread out across a decently sized area. The area is largely undeveloped, so most names are arbitrary. The following is a list of main islands in the NGA:
- Faeran: the only developed island. It is a small island that only fits a Cenrail/Archrail station and few other small structures.
- North Visby: plainsisland that contains an Archrail station. Named after the Visby subdistricts of Season 1's Gotland.
- South Visby: barren forestisland. Named after the Visby subdistricts of Season 1's Gotland.
- Lesbos: barren forest/beach island. Named after lesbianism.
- Ar: barren beach island. Named after Spanish arena, meaning "sand."
- Rin: another barren beach island. Named after Spanish arena, meaning "sand."
- Wlilimi Biwili: barren plains/beach island that is long. Named after a popular phrase in Ikai Taa.
- Dihza: barren plains/beach island. Random name.
- Oakinawa: plains island with a village. Named after Okinawa Island in Japan and oak.
- Nguhland: barren plains island. Named after Robert Cole.
- G1: small beach island north of Rin
- G2: small beach island on the northern tip of Wlilimi Biwili
- G3: small beach island east of Dihza
- G4: small forest island south of Wlilimi Biwili
Lithea Archipelago
The Lithea archipelago is mostly a stony shores biome with some small islands that are purely beach. There is only one main island, Lithea Island, which the archipelago is named after. The name Lithea comes from the Ancient Greek λίθος, meaning "stone."
