North Yija

North Yija (Kyawcenni: Yija Nam [ˈji.dʒə nam], German: Norditza /noɐ̯tˈʔɪ.tsɐ/) is a village in Shingtsun. It is administered as a borough of Yija and located north of its city center. North Yija is home to the Chirean Iron Farm, the namesake of the Chire, which has been the first ever Kyawcenni structure to be built in Shingtsun.

History

Start as the Iron Farm in Riverland

The Chirean Iron Farm, at that time known as the Iron Farm in Riverland, first started out as a Marcian, later Kyawcenni, colony for iron in late December 2023. The back then unnamed village was home to only a single villager, who was subsequently enslaved for the iron farm, along with two other villagers from modern-day Esasne. This farm has since been the main source of iron in Kyaw Cen and has later even lead to the foundation of the city of Yija and the Kyawcenni expansion and migration to the area in February 2024.

Repopulation

From 25–26 March 2024, North Yija was fully refurbished, with new streets with assigned names and new houses and it has been repopulated with 5 new villagers.

Iron Farm Reparations

On 26 March 2024, after the realization that the three slaves in the iron farm have been turned into Zombies, an attempt at healing them has begun. This attempt failed, with one villager being killed by the remaining two and another one being killed by Marcy I due to being a threat to the third one, who was successfully cured and voluntarily continued to serve for the iron farm, even after Marcy offered them freedom. Three more villagers were imported from Esasne, and with that the iron farm has been rebuilt.
