Etymology
The name of Antsunmwasha River comes from a mix of various local languages' words for "river". At its core is Xadwg "Młaca" /mβ̞a.ʃa/, due to North Amuj's original proximity to the river. A level higher is Kyawcenni "Cun" /tsyn/, which was added by the Kyawcenni explorers surveying the land on behalf of Marcy I. The final layer is Mosici [noːlø], although the actual Mosici name for the river is [ãtsymwaɕãnoːʟø]. This would give "Antsunmwashanauleu River", but that name was deemed too long by Marcy I, and thus the river came to be known as Antsunmwasha River.
