Humans and Human-adjacents

For some reason many universes seem to have nearly-identical species that are easily confused with one another, here they are separated by the universe the descend from.

Ŋəarth Descent Humanoids

Humanoid species native to Ŋǝarth include villagers and the group nebulously called "players".

Astahon Descent Humans

Mainly found in Imerchal and the surrounding areas, Astahon humans are nearly identical to other humans, with one major exceptions: they display a much greater variety in natural hair colorations.

Viridian Descent Humans

Found in Krīpetēpla, Viridian humans are almost completely identical to other humans, to the point of not being even classifiable as a separate species. The key difference is that, due to the particular conditions of their homeworld, they have adapted to a higher concentration of a mysterious kind of energy, and some of them, given the right instruments, can even use this energy to do "magic", although there are strong limitations on what is achievable. Currently, no non-Viridian human has been found able to do the same. There are no visible differences between Viridians and other humans.

Kardon Descent Humanoids

Found in New Maeksikeo, Kardonian armorkin and Tukisagyan moonrabbits are both sapient species that almost entirely resemble humans. However, the former have hard dermal plating that resembles the shell of an armadillo (but can also be found on the arms of armorkin), while the latter have rabbit-like ears and tails.

Dorrü Descent Humanoids

Found in Xtrakva, the Dorrü (IPA: /dɔrˈru/) resemble humans but are determined to be their own species due to very minute differences. The Dorrü originate from the far-off land of Tharaz and are considered the human equivalent of that world. Dorrü who reside in Ŋǝarth entered the world through a portal around the Sea of Enkavak before migrating south.

Beastfolks

Beastfolks are generally defined as species that resemble a non-human mammal more than humans. Such species can be anthropomorphic, but generally do not have most of the features that make a human, unlike species considered human or humanoid.

Ŋǝarth Descent Beastfolk

The only beastfolk species native to Ŋǝarth are the piglins. They are native to the Nether, and die in the relative cold of the overworld.

Spectradom Descent Beastfolk

From Astaryuu's world of Spectradom, kanvas are sapient anthropomorphic felinoids.

Gateway Descent Beastfolk

Originating from the Gateway, felines make up the majority of the population of Eville, Lyrcynthinia. They are bipedal, seemingly having evolved from an unknown species of wildcats. Felines are, on average, shorter than humans; the average adult feline is roughly 1.51_dec meters tall. They have remarkably long tails; a feline's tail is usually around 0.75_dec times as long as they are tall. While they have claws, many retract theirs under most circumstances to avoid being perceived as a threat. Their paws typically have 4 fingers, one of which functioning as a thumb due to being on the side of the paw; their feet have 4 toes. Their fur is naturally in the range of light blue-gray to black, with dark markings similar to those of a leopard; these markings are very difficult to see on dark-furred felines. The color of their eyes usually correlates with their fur color, with blue-gray furred felines often having bluish eyes and black-furred felines having orange eyes; some felines have jade-green or red eyes instead of the expected color based on their fur. The color of their eyes describes the color of their sclerae; they do not have irides. Their eyes are nearly perfectly circular, and their pupils take the form of vertical slits.

It is not uncommon for a feline to run on all-fours despite being bipedal; this allows them to run much faster than humans.

Scalefolks

Scalefolks are similar to beastfolk, but resemble a reptile (including birds) or amphibian species moreso than any mammal species.

Gateway Descent Scalefolk

Kobolds are a bipedal species that seems to have evolved from dragons. They originate from the Gateway and are the majority population of Fucking, Lyrcynthinia; due to being cold-blooded, very few live in the cold regions of Lyrcynthinia. They are generally taller than humans; the average adult kobold is approximately 2.16_dec meters in height. Their skeletons contain wingbones, although no modern kobold has wings. Their tails are moderately sized compared to their height; the length of a healthy adult kobold's tail will often be around 30% of their height. They have long, wide snouts; their horns often take the form of a bent cone, and many kobolds adorn their horns with jewelery. Their claws usually have 4 fingers, one of which is on the side of their claw, functioning similarly to a human's thumb. Their feet usually have 5 toes, two of which being on the back. They are a carnivorous species; their bodies are not adapted to derive any useful amount of nutrients from digesting plant matter. Their scales are usually dark, with males usually having warm-colored scales and females usually having cool-colored scales. Their horns are often similarly colored to their scales; however, unlike their scales, they are often light. Their horns are almost always the same color as their claws. Their eyes are nearly-ovular, with the sides being pointed (similar to human eyes); they are often orange, violet, or blue, but rarer colors such as pink and gold can be observed in some individuals. Their eye color describes their irides; the sclerae are black in healthy individuals. Their pupils take the form of vertical slits.

Kobolds are more naturally proficient in magic than other Gateway-descent species, likely due to having evolved from dragons.

Amorphous species

These species are defined by a complete lack of sexual differentiation, generally reproducing asexually. The term refers obliquely to this by comparing these species to bacteria and other such pre-sexual life. Also referred to as "fairies" (or the Rokadong equivalent  kawil) by Rauratoshanian literature, these may have an anthropomorphic form, but need not, as the primary definition of the category is lack of sexual features and sex broadly.

Allays

Allays and vexes are the only confirmed-amorphous species native to Ŋǝarth. The Royal Academy of Rauratoshan Kingdom produced a treatise on allay biology, determining that they were silicate at best, and possibly entirely phononic lifeforms. They appear to have been enslaved by Ŋǝarth's illager population.

Amogi
