Tanylezi /tanəleʒi/ (Aparatas: Tanylezi /tanʊleʒi/ "Circlular Peninsulas") is a ŋation north of Kīvengṓ, the Enkavak Sea and west of That One Weirdly Lithuania-Shaped Island.
History
July
Octothorpe settled in what is now Tocoselesi on the 14th of July 2024 accompanied by their cat, Rupert. After Rupert mysteriously disappeared on a trip to get buried treasure on That One Weirdly Lithuania-Shaped Island,[1] Octothorpe tamed a dog, Simon.[2] Octothorpe would later name Rupertos Ataso in Rupert's honor.
On the 15th of July 2024, Octothorpe would submit Tanylezi to become a ŋation. It was accepted on the 16th of July 2024.[3]
Two days after Tanylezi was accepted, on the 18th of July 2024, Octothorpe founded a chicken restaurant named Los Pollos Hermanos (a reference to Breaking Bad) on Rupertos Ataso.[4]
On the 29th of July 2024, Rupert was found whilst Octothorpe listened to Pinkerton Deluxe. Devotion was named the Tanylezi national anthem due to this.
August
On the 9th of August 2024, Tanylezi was allowed into the United Ŋations. Octothorpe changed their skin after this.
On the 13th of August 2024, it was revealed that SOMEBODY thought it would be fun to steal from Enkavak. Nothing other than the population counter changed.
Divisions
Tocoselesi-selo
Tocoselesi-selo /tokoʃeleʃiʃelo/ Aparatas: "Tocoselesi Land", also known as the Upper Peninsula, is a division of Tanylezi located on the upper peninsula. As the name suggests, Tocoselesi-selo is the division in which Tocoselesi is located.
Rupertos Ataso
Rupertos Ataso /ɾupeɾtoʃ ataʃo/ Aparatas: "Rupert's Island", also called the English translation of its name, is a division of Tanylezi located on the center island between the two peninsulas. It was dedicated to Rupert after he disappeared. Rupertos Ataso is home of Los Pollos Hermanos.
Eteþelio
Eteþelio /eteθelio/ (also spelled 'Etethelio' and has no Aparatas translation), also known as the Lower Peninsula, is a division of Tanylezi located on the lower peninsula.
Esylesi
Esylezi /eʃʊleʃi/ Aparatas: "Mountain", is a division of Tanylezi located on and behind the mountain.
Rifescomo
Rifescomo /ɾifeʃkomo/ (an Aparatas transliteration of "Rivers Cuomo" (Yes, I was running out of ideas. Why do you ask?)) is a division of Tanylezi located to the west of the mainland.
Currency
The current currency in Tanylezi is the Poisonous Potato. There are plans to deprecate it due to it being farmable and annoying to farm. The alternative is unknown.
Trivia
- The colors on Tanylezi's flag are a reference to Tally Hall (because of course they are)
- There are no structures in Eteþelio.
- The hyphen in Tocoselesi-selo is entirely redundant and is only there for the aesthetic.
