The name of Antsunmwasha River comes from a mix of various local languages' words for "river". At its core is Cadwg "" /mβ̞a.ʃa/, due to North Amuj's proximity to the river. A level higher is Kyawcenni "Cun" /tsyn/, which was added by the Kyawcenni explorers surveying the land on behalf of Marcy I. The final layer is Mosici "" /noːlø/, although the actual Mosici name for the river is "" /ãtsỹmwaɕanolø/. This would give "Antsunmwashanauleu River", but that name was deemed too long by Marcy I, and thus the river came to be known as Antsunmwasha River.

Antsunmwasha River, often simplified to just Antsunmwasha, is a river separating the continents of Archipelagia and Thasusa. On its coast are The People's Floracracy of Pua, the North Amujan city of Pozhazh, and Kyawcenni Pua.

Etymology

The name of Antsunmwasha River comes from a mix of various local languages' words for "river". At its core is Cadwg "Młaca" /mβ̞a.ʃa/, due to North Amuj's proximity to the river. A level higher is Kyawcenni "Cun" /tsyn/, which was added by the Kyawcenni explorers surveying the land on behalf of Marcy I. The final layer is Mosici "Naháleo" /noːlø/, although the actual Mosici name for the river is "an-Tsóimuasianaháleo" /ãtsỹmwaɕanolø/. This would give "Antsunmwashanauleu River", but that name was deemed too long by Marcy I, and thus the river came to be known as Antsunmwasha River.
