Araçana
Araçana (Araçanic: Arat Zana /a.ras̪ː‿a.na/), is a state located southeast of Kozdenen, west of Eltear, and north of Arktsev, on the southern coast of the Ngasekaiv Sea.

Name
Although the English word Araçana is considered a single word, its Araçanic counterpart (and etymological origin) is considered two words: arat /a.rat/, meaning city, and Zana /s̪a.na/, the endonym of the Zana people.

History
On April 28, 2025, Araçana became a member of the Gulf Union.
On May 27, 2025, Araçana became a member of the United Ŋations.
On May 29, 2025, The borders of Araçana were formally expanded to their current size.
Government and Politics
Araçana is governed by a democratically elected unicameral assembly. The assembly is managed by the Mayor. However, due to the current Mayor’s recent mandates, Mayor Outlaw Sly also holds the title of Countess. Upon the death or abdication of the Countess, a new one will be chosen by a nefarious Shadow Council who dwell in a cave.

The Krisa, a 5 to 6 stringed Banjo-like instrument, is a symbol of Araçanni culture and is played in dance music. Instruments that often accompany the Krisa are the Saraz (a form of Serpent) and various Percussion instruments.

The official language of Araçana is Araçanic, which is the most spoken of the Irgi-Zana languages. Additionally, Yiddish is spoken by a significant minority of the population and is considered a recognized language. English is learned as a second language by many Araçanni people.
