i Êpcêm Mûn-nan /i ˈɛːpt͡ʃeːm mɪːn nɐn/ (full name: i Kimôd Êpcêmin Mûn-nan "The Council on the Island Between Two Rivers") is a nation situated in the expanse of spruce forests north of Kodzenen and Enkavak, almost completely cut off from the surrounding land by rivers. The name literally translates to "The Island Between Two Rivers" following a convention in modern Câynqasang towards extremely descriptive place-names. The nation is currently presided over and, since 27 April 2024, represented on the United Ŋations by its Kimôdihû (President), Maple.
History
The first settlement began on 21 April 2024 as a hole in the side of a hill on the island, a handful of cherry trees, and several farms. Over the next several days, a house was constructed, followed by a connection to the rail line connecting Spawn and Kodzenen, built by Pleb with some assistance from Maple on 26 April, and a local connection between the first settlement and the planned station, completed on 27 April. i Êpcêm Mûn-nan was admitted to the UŊ on 27 April 2024 by a unanimous vote with two abstentions. The flag was developed hours later.
