Áń Wyiŋaq Cáśy Cáŋaj, or Cáśy for short, formerly Wetáŋa gAtowI (IPA: /'β̞ʷɪtɑːŋɐ/), is a Maraśań ocean priest and formerly the Queen or Quing[1] (Śácamþaśá: mAnItu Tunema) of Maraśa. She was in power until the Maraśań Civil War, and ruled the country as an absolute monarchy. She was originally suspected by some to be Rijyc Śiłja in disguise, but the public declaration of her true identity as Cáśy (rather than Wetáŋa) and the accompanying backstory of her life has largely ended these rumours.

  1. While Cáśy is a woman, Śácamþaśá does not have gendered terms for leaders.
