Pozhazh (Cadwg Pocac/Poziazi [po.ʒaʒ], Hebrew: פוז׳ז׳) is a city in North Amuj's Insular Amuj province located on the eastern tip of Archipelagia. It was given to Amuj following the dissolution of Murbetia on 22 August 2024. It borders Kyawcenni Pua and Ymécopaltarrévein to the west, and the Antsunmwasha River to the east.
Etymology
The name Pozhazh comes from two Cadwg words: "Pŵ"/"Pó" /pu/, meaning Pua, referring to Pozhazh's proximity to West Pua, and "Cac"/"Ziazi" /ʒaʒ/, meaning harbour, referring to the former Scarecrow Harbour upon which Pozhazh was founded. However, the reason why it's called Pozhazh and not Puzhazh is due to irregular alteration of /u/ to /o/.
