Leadup

On the 10th of October, Admiral Viqy left the Keltechran port of Raln with her navy, intending to sail to Maraśa to establish democracy there[1]. Before exiting Keltechran waters, half the navy mutinied, and returned to the service of the government[2]. The rest of the world was informed of this on the following day [3], at which point the government of Keltechra had been made aware of the planned route of the fleet.

Journey

Following the announcement, the government of Araçana announced a large part of their forces, led by Grand Admiral Semhiba i-Mahaçer, had also defected to join the rogue Keltechran fleet. Half of these were destroyed by the fleet of Enkavak in Southern Rivers before they were able to link up with Viqy. As the rogue fleet approached Stej Ven, it split in two. The main component, about three fifths of the fleet, was led north by Viqy, through the Archipelagian Straits, then east across Ximh Gwynh and Miŋejácár. The secondary component, about two fifths, was led by one of Viqy‘s loyalists, Ań Fiv Fwny Śaeł. It was planned to sail east across Coldba and Murben't, then through the straits of Pua Minor. The two fleets would then rejoin near the Showhen Islands in the Great Sea. Following the finding of this trajectory, the Gulf Union, Thasusan Union and ŊATO began planning a response, spearheaded by Imerchal stating it would assemble its primary fleet in the Great Sea. Enkavak, having already participated in fighting the rogue fleet before this announcement, quickly joined in.[4][5]

Battle of Murben't

On the afternoon of the 11th, the rogue fleet was spotted off the coast of Dróstsiśtsi[6]. The military at Murben't[7] and the fleet at Pojaj[8] mobilised in response, aiming to intercept the detachment led by Fwny. Not long after, the fleet led by Fwny came under attack at Murben't. They managed to inflict significant casualties, but were ultimately annihilated when the fleet of Pojaj reinforced the Atlantic armies. Fwny was captured at Murben't, ending the southern theatre of the crisis.
