Languages

Languages used most frequently at home, by percentage of Araçana's population.[1]

Araçanic is spoken natively by a majority of Araçana's population and was defined as the official language of Araçana in the 2025 Constitution. Additionally, Tosï, Laevanaak, Hebrew, and Yiddish are spoken natively by minorities of the population and are classified governmentally as Recognized Languages. Like in many of the countries of Nguhcraft, English is also used as a language of interŋational communication, and is spoken as a second language by over half of Araçanic speakers, but it is not officially recognized by the government in any capacity.

Bilingualism is very common in Araçana, and public education usually requires students to take classes for a foreign language. Commonly studied languages include English, Kozramva, Laevanaak, Occitan, and Kyawcenni.
