The Rauratoshan Kingdom is a parliamentary monarchy as of 2 February 2025. This page is a hub for official policy of Rauratoshan, but is no substitute for reading the laws of Rauratoshan verbatim. That being said, not all politics is holed up in laws.

Economics

The musan is the only ŋationally accepted and backed currency within the Rauratoshan Kingdom, though the Rauratoshan Kingdom also allows use of any interŋational currency (ones whose UŊMAO code starts with X), including depositing it within the Royal Bank of Rauratoshan to convert it into musan. This also means blood diamonds and furcoin are both unsupported; the official stance of Rauratoshan's Royal Court of Justice is that using these currencies instead of musan or an X-currency is tantamount to gambling.

The Royal Office of the Treasury (ROOT) looked into the Lyric of Eras, although its historically awkward relationship to other currencies initially was the reasoning behind not accepting Lyrics. However, with the collapse of activity in the Port of Eras, all decisions on the matter were indefinitely postponed.

Foreign affairs

Border policy

Rauratoshan's borders are relatively open; citizenship is required for most activities that take place within Rauratoshan, but it is relatively easy to get Rauratoshanian citizenship. The citizenship test can be entirely answered from wiki pages like this one, and no religious or linguistic allegiance is necessary, though only the three working languages Rokadong, English, and Spanish are officially supported.

Relations with other ŋations

In the early days of Rauratoshan, the quing regent quickly established positive relations with the Port of Eras and standoffish relations with the Realm of Madness. Rauratoshanian officers have also been involved in multiple different Amujs, most prominently the former CMCic Federation, with which the Quing Regent was involved in both its creation and its conversion into the Mandate of Greater Ruxese. To try and help fulfill Iris's desire for a ŋation as prominent as Amuj, Rauratoshan's Star-Path Minigames, with royal approval, built a museum of Amujology in Ruxese and the Amujxplosion Simulator in Ażamui.

In the new generation of Nguhcraft, often referred to as Season 2.5, Rauratoshanian officials have become more discerning with their foreign relations. While embassies in Coldba (Cuba) and Imerchal have been built relatively recently, Rauratoshan was also tangentially involved in the Great Chest Locking (where Rauratoshan was highly threatened) and the Great Tantrum (where at least one wiki page related to Rauratoshan was vandalized). Rauratoshan prominently sanctioned Reimusia for the construction of a giant Reimu fumo within the Froglight Farm on the Nether Roof, in spite of multiple direct warnings not to do so, and despite the quing regent's fondness for the Touhou series.

The Rauratoshan Kingdom still remains an upstart player in the interŋational community, spearheading the Ŋafrican Union in September 2025. However, this has resulted in them becoming embroiled in the Maraśan Civil War, thanks to either collusion or incompetence between the Rauratoshan Office of the Frontier (ROOF), Madness Multiverse Missionary, and Preservation Party.
