The Yija Tram (Kyawcenni: Taux Yijane [tɑ̂ç ji.ɖʐɛɰ̃]) is a tramway network consisting of two lines in the central and northern parts of the city.

On 26 August 2025, the first tram line was opened, going from the Cenrail station (Yija Pfr) to the northwestern corner of Esem Kuwi Square (Esem Kuwi). On 23 September, it was extended eastward from the Cenrail station, all the way to the eastern coast of the island (Monюment).

On 5 and 6 November 2025, the Yijan Tram network was expanded with the final station on the T1, closing the loop, and a new T2 line from Rombu all the way to Esasne.
