The Gulf Union (GU) is a supernational political and economic union of nine member states established with the intent of fostering cooperation between states located around the Gulf of Kozdenen or connected waterways, comprising a transcontinental region straddling southern Slabland and northeastern Thasusa.
Etymology
The Gulf Union was named after the Gulf of Kozdenen, a body of water that the original five member states are bordering.
History
The Gulf Union was founded on 4 February 2025 by the five founding members around the Gulf of Kozdenen; Kozdenen, MápabaL, Nošaterçe, R̦ijeləm, and Sofao Tâsi; when they signed the founding treaty. On 7 February 2025, invitations were sent to the governments of Enkavak, i Êpcêm Mûn-nan, Imerchal and the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen due to being nearby countries in southern Slabland, with all of which accepting the invitation in the days after.

It is be headed by the Chief Commissioner, currently Pleb, responsible for overseeing the general functioning of the Union, who is elected by and among the members of the Gulf Council.
