Tauranga Puawai (sometimes: Taranga Puawai or Turanga Puawei in East Pua) is a former colony of West Pua that became independent following the reintegration of the continental Floracracy after the end of the Chilled War. It is located south of the Pua region almost entirely within the Amujan Sea. To its east is the Blighted Shrine guardian farm as well as Realm of Madness and to its south lies Latium Regnātum. It is part of the Land of Chaos continental mass.
It is uncertain when and by whom the archipelago was discovered but it was claimed by Pontifex Skrungk for West Pua due to its proximity and the abundance of alliums. It was thought to be the only place alliums grow natively in all of West Pua. Tauranga Puawai became an independent nation led by Skrungk following the end of the Chilled War.
Prehistory
Tauranga Puwai was formerly a colony of West Pua. After many months of nonstop construction on the Church of the Allium, the people of West Pua began to grow weary of the “seemingly impossible task” and some citizens began to outright refuse to continue working on the project, stating that the construction was a poor use of West Pua’s manpower. This, combined with the Blue Scare, caused instability and unrest throughout West Pua. This started a coup that exiled the West Puan government to Tauranga Puawai, where they made it an independent nation.
