List of Sessions of the Xarslasja Legislature
The Xarslasja Legislature decides on the creation and implementation of laws, initiatives, and programs in the Bezuvate of Xarslasja. Sessions are typically held every two weeks to decide on pertinent political and logistical issues facing the nation.
In normal times, the Legislature consists of 16 voting seats, 3 non-voting seats, and a Veto Seat held by the Bezuv. However, after October 24th, 2024, the seat for La Paz County and the two seats for Coconino County are inactive due to the former's state of active rebellion and the latter's occupation by the XLA military. Thus, there are currently 13 valid voting seats.

These were the contentious sessions that led to Xarslasja's adoption of the Puan Unity Argent as its official currency.

No votes were held on this day. Most of the conversation related to infrastructure development in Yavapai, Greenlee, and Graham County.
10/24/2024 - 10/26/2024 - The Emergency Sessions

These were the chaotic sessions held during and after the climax of the Coup Sabah, yielding a death warrant for Gu Sabah, the abolition of the Xarslasja Port Authority, and the granting of free property to nations that provided humanitarian aid to repair damages from the Battle of Flagstaff.
After these sessions, only 13 voting seats are present due to the Gu Sabah Insurgency.
11/7/2024
In a 13-0 vote, the Legislature granted the use of humanitarian aid funds to contribute to the reconstruction of the Copper Palace.
In a 13-0 vote, the Legislature implored the Bezuv to sink the destroyed ships from the Battle for Shea Island.
In a 12-1 vote, the Legislature voted to allow the use of humanitarian aid resources to further the construction of Jomax Stadium in preparation for the Nguhlympics. The representative from Gila County was the "No" vote.

In a 13-0 vote, the Legislature declared Cave Creek Canyon a "National Recreation Area" and authorized a hiking path to the bottom of the canyon to be constructed, beginning at the east end of Yuma.
In a 6-7 vote, the Legislature decided against moving the County Seat of Graham County to San Tan Valley.
In a 10-3 vote, the Legislature voted to begin the process of converting national treasury funds to the Puan Unity Argent until the supply was 50% Slab and 50% PUA.
In a 9-4 vote, the Legislature voted to revamp the pricing structures at the GD Bank and the Trade Commission to provide prices in PUA and Slab.
In a 13-0 vote, the Legislature implored the Bezuv to authorize the construction of a well-lit, paved road connecting Flagstaff to Nogales in order to lessen the rebels' ability to hide in the hills of Coconino County.
In a 13-0 vote, the Legislature implored the Bezuv to authorize the reconstruction of the Shea Island Naval Complex for future usage as a naval complex for an organization to succeed the XPA.
In a 8-5 vote, the Legislature voted to create the Xarslasja Royal Navy (XRN), a naval subdivision of the Xarslasja Legislative Authority, to succeed the XPA and occupy the XPA's former buildings.
In an 11-2 vote, the Legislature voted to create the Xarslasja Terrestrial Army (XTA), a land-based subdivision of the Xarslasja Legislative Authority, for the express purpose of expressing military power throughout the nation.

In a 11-2 vote, the Legislature declared the Xarslasja Deadshrub and the Xarslasja Cactus to be endangered and protected species.
In a 9-4 vote, the Legislature voted to create a series of National Forests of Xarslasja throughout the nation, wherein all construction, industrial or residential, will be forbidden within 6 blocks of the surface.
In a 7-6 vote, the Legislature voted to dedicate the primary foreign policy goal for the next three months to be the progression of the Thasusa By Land Initiative, and to create a headquarters for the Initiative in or near the Legislature Building.
1/22/2025
In a 7-6 vote, the Legislature voted to allow the importing of a stadium from the Season 1 world in northeastern Xarslasja, near the tripoint border with Thunan Qumrea and Naronpar.
In a 9-4 vote, the Legislature voted to create a "Xarslasja Heritage Site Tour" throughout the nation.

In a 12-1 vote, the Legislature decided that the formerly insurgent counties would be permitted to re-enter the voting body on November 1st, 2025, so long as the first new representatives for the counties are approved by the current Legislature before taking their seats.

In a 6-7 vote, the Legislature voted NOT to increase the number of seats in the Legislature on January 1st, 2026 to account for the increased populations of Carefree Isles County, Yavapai County, and Coconino County. This would have increased the total number of seats to 20. The initiative was denied on account of the lack of a proper census to prove the population increase of Coconino County, especially after the destruction of Tucson.
Also, three members cited that they didn't want the Legislature Building to undergo construction should more seats need to be added.
They conceded to hold another vote after the reintroduction of the formerly rebellious counties.
10/29/2025 - 10/30/2025: The Reintegration Sessions

A set of votes took place to discuss the details of the acquisition of former Thunan Qumrea territory.
The first vote, on whether to allow the annexation of the new former Thunan Qumrea territory, passed 12-1. The only dissenting vote was the representative from Yavapai County, who didn’t want Sedona’s burgeoning economy to be superceded by the highly resource-rich areas to the north.
The second vote, on whether to create the new counties of Mohave County and Cochise County, failed to pass in a vote of 6-7. The representatives from Santa Cruz County, Gila County, Graham County, Greenlee County, and Yavapai County voted against the measure.
The Legislature then voted 13-0 to send in the Xarslasja Terrestrial Army to bring control to the new areas, declaring the temporary Tunnan Military District. Passions were running high, and, determined not to allow this issue to persist for long, the Legislature agreed to remain convened and continue voting until the issue was resolved.
The fourth vote of the night, on whether to reintegrate Coconino County and La Paz County into the federal system, passed 11-2 - with the provision that the new legislatures would be chosen and approved by the Legislature and not by the residents of the counties themselves. Gila County and Graham County voted against this measure, claiming the unrest would continue without the representation being truly local.
Messengers of the news were sent out to the counties. This would not be necessary, however, as many members of the Legislature had already selected the three new representatives. These three were a high-ranking member of the XTA who fought in the Battle of Tucson, the former assistant head of the Great Desert Bank, and the owner of the Clifton half of Xarslasja Deep. The Bezuv approved their applications on the spot, and, after some debate, the Legislature confirmed them during their fifth vote of the night, 9-4. Once again there were 16 representatives who could vote.
The sixth vote of the night, on whether to create new seats for counties with higher populations starting immediately or on January 1st, 2026, went 12-4 in favor of making the change immediately.
The seventh vote of the night, on whether to utilize the data from the October-November 2025 census to inform the creation of said new seats, passed 9-7. This vote created a heated argument. Some were upset because their new construction projects to increase population would not come to fruition in time to possibly boost counties’ seats. Others were upset because their new construction census was not yet complete and many thought the work was shoddy, even though the Bezuv wanted to push through with the data on hand immediately.
The eighth vote of the night brought things to a standstill. In an 8-8 tie, the Legislature couldn’t come to a conclusion on the completion of the census. After much arguing about the usefulness of paying workers to get the exact count of individuals in smaller towns and villages, the Legislature decided they were exhausted and would meet again the following day. In preparation, the Bezuv hired 10 more workers to complete the census as soon as possible, including two to Tunnan.
The Legislature reconvened in the afternoon after political discussions throughout the morning.
The first vote, on whether to add new seat(s) to the Legislature for the new county or two counties in Tunnan at the same time as the new seats for counties with increased populations, passed 9-7. This vote did not, however, decide whether there would be one or two counties in Tunnan. The rural counties flipped significantly in favor of this measure, noticing that the addition of new seats to populous counties would make the power of smaller counties significantly lower. They hoped that the counties of Tunnan would form a sort of “rural coalition” with the existing rural counties to stand a chance at defying the votes of the urban centers if need be.
The second vote, on whether to finish the Census or to use the existing data to determine the additions of new seats as a matter of expedient urgency, tied 8-8. In an extremely controversial move, the Bezuv stepped in to cast a tie-breaking Executive Override, in favor of letting the Census finish first. The room erupted into chaos, and the rural regions were suddenly emboldened to bring forth the vote on the creation of the new counties. Once order was reestablished in the Hall, the representative from Greenlee County suggested a new vote that the Speaker allowed to proceed.
The third vote, on whether to create Mohave County and Cochise County from the territory of the Tunnan Military District ONLY UPON the completion of the Census and tallying of potential additional seats in existing counties, passed 9-7. At this point tensions were so high that physical fights broke out in the Legislature Hall. Various representatives called on messengers to instruct their constituents to begin building infrastructure for new villagers in their respective counties. The Bezuv was displeased with the chaos but was overall satisfied with the growth mindset the representatives had. The meeting adjourned. The census was yet to be completed, and thus the addition of new seats was postponed until it was.

In an 8-8 tie, the Bezuv pushed forward the motion to scrap preexisting census data to ensure all information in the new census was current.
12/31/2025
In a 13-3 vote, the new data for the existing counties was confirmed and approved. At this point, only official establishment of Mohave and Cochise County remained before the new representation apportionment was made official.

1/7/2026
Despite the Bezuv being missing, presumably secluded in his palace for four weeks at this point, the procedures to incorporate the new counties and inaugurate the new legislature apportionment needed to continue.
In an 11-5 vote, Mohave County and Cochise County were made official feunawa of the Bezuvate of Xarslasja. Their county seats were in Ashton and Show Low respectively. They didn’t yet have any mayors or legitimate local authority, as the local filibusters continued to work together with the XTA to maintain order in the areas. With the Census data in, it was clear that Mohave County had a population nearly four times higher than Cochise County, and the question remained as to the exact apportionment numbers of the new Legislature.
In an 8-8 tie, no decision was made as to whether to unveil and immediately enact the new apportionment and expanded Legislature size as planned in October. With the Bezuv not being present, there was no constitutional strategy to move ahead. Thus, the speaker moved to simply hold the vote again in a week.
1/14/2026
The same vote was held again with no alterations, and the vote again came to an 8-8 tie. The Bezuv was still missing, and no decision could be made. The meeting adjourned again, but members of rural districts had a plan to push things forward should the Bezuv not return.
1/21/2026 - Absentia Statute
The representative from Gila County, in conjunction with the Speaker of the House, brought forth a bill titled the “Absentia Statute,” proposing a controversial solution to the standstill with the absence of the Bezuv.
