The Ŋeicide, pronounced /ˈŋiː.ɪ.saɪd/ was an event on 25 January 2025, during the UŊ meeting of the same month. During this meeting, Fishland was disbanded by their ruler, Collie left Nguhcraft, and two other ŋations voluntarily removed themselves from the United Ŋations. Fishland was given to Þunan Qumreá.

Etymology

"Ŋeicide" is a play on "deicide", as the rulers of Fishland and Hanebrug both had the ŋod rank on the Nguhcraft Discord server. However, multiple non-ngods also had serious objections following the meeting.

Events

At 15:53 RST on January 25, 2025, Fishland's ruler Elisa announced Fishland's dissolution.[1] 26 minutes later, Elisa published the Fishland Will, donating the land to Þunan Qumreá.[2]

Recently-appointed UŊCDSO officer Fin offered to alter the codes for Fishland's Cenrail stations, but Hilja did not want this, saying that she does not plan to divide Fishland into provinces. She then refused any further comments.[3]

At 16:36 RST, former-Hanebrug's leader Charlotte followed suit and left Nguhcraft, prompting some to ask what would happen to Hanebrug.[4] At 23:45 RST[5], it was pointed out that Hanebrug had already been dissolved on 2024 December 22 and the territory was offered to Kathyria,[6] who accepted some of it.[7]

At 17:57 RST, the Great Kingdom of Aylongam[8] and the Anarchist Workers' Republic of Corneria[9] left the United Ŋations. However, they did not disband, unlike Fishland and Hanebrug.

Due to a notice from Þunan Qumreá leader Hilja[10], it is known that multiple disruptions of the UŊ meeting happened, including knocking down the UŊ map multiple times. Elisa was stimming mid-meeting and was asked to go to the stimming room, to which she refused. However, instead of asking meeting moderators, people took it into their own hands, causing a massive disruption where harassment and other banned activities took place. The Ŋeicide was the aftermath.
