Transportation in Xarslasja

Since the opening of the first CenRail connection to Yuma in January 2024, Xarslasja has rapidly developed an intricate network of roads, railways, navigable waterways, and ghastports. Much of this infrastructure, especially those that were designed early on in the country's growth, were made so hastily that they have already undergone projects of renewal and modernization. The current government-sponsored program, Operation: Usable Transit, has been one of the most bold in the nation's history.

Local Roads

Most local roads in Xarslasja are either two or three blocks wide. In deserts, they are paved with smooth stone, and in non-desert biomes they are patted down dirt.

Every street in the Core Xarslasja Metro area is labeled with a name in Arodjun. Buildings along streets in Yuɱa, Blythe, and Quartzsite all have numbered addresses, based on the Yuma Street Grid System. The center point is the fountain at Dunxaum Yuma, and the cardinal quadrants revolving around it determine the first digit of the address (1, 2, 3, or 4). The second and third digits mark the position of the building in order from its road, with the origin being wherever it is closest to the Dunxaum Yuma Fountain. Whether the number is odd or even is determined by what side of the road the building is on.

Thasusa By Land Initiative

There are multiple major throughways that are part of the international Thasusa By Land Initiative System. These roads follow a set of standards agreed upon by all member nations.

Horse Stables

Part of Operation: Usable Transit includes the plan to build relatively regularly-intervaled horse stables to guarantee safe travels across long distances. As of July 2026, all of Xarslasja only has 3 horse stables.

Local Rail

Within Xarslasja, there are three major internal, two-lane rail lines: the Core Xarslasja Line, the Nogales-Arcosanti Line, and the Acacialands Line.

At the Yuma Nexus (located under the center square, Dunxaum Juma) there are connections to:

• Core Xarslasja Line
• Nogales-Arcosanti Line
• Sun City West Rapid Pua Access (in progress)
• Ashton-Tunnan Rapid Access (in progress)
• Naval Rapid Access (in progress)

The Nogales-Arcosanti Line at Yuma Nexus and connects to Gila Bend, Arcosanti, the Underwater Hotel, Flagstaff, Tucson Ruins, Tach3on Ruins, Nogales, Ajo, Payson, and Sedona.

The Acacialands Line connects Sedona to Sun City West.

International Rail

Xarslasja is served by Cenrail at Yuɱa Station, Ngibraltar Station, Flagstaff Station, Sedona Station, and Ash Fork Station. These serve as the primary rapid rail transit to the rest of the world.

At Yuma Station, there is international access via the Southern Loop and Linecone.

At Ngibraltar Station and Flagstaff Station there is international access via the Southern Loop.

At Sedona Station, there is international access via the Olympic Line.

At Ash Fork Station, there is international access via the Southern Loop, Olympic Line, and Western Line.

A Leshrail stop exists in Surprise.

The Far Harbor-Polnareff Land Undersea Rail Connection (under construction as of July 2026) will be a quick international connection linking Polnareff Land to the outside world.

Navigable Waterways

Boat travel is also quite easy throughout Xarslasja, as most settlements are located next to major bodies of water with docks built in. International travel is quite easy along the Salt River and Blue River.

There are several rivers/straits (AR: wifawa) in or partially in Xarslasja:

• Oak River
• Blue River
• Verde River
• Salt River
• Colorado River
• Gila River
• Ajasiq River

There are only a few natural lakes in Xarslasja larger than puddles:

• Saguaro Lake
• Rankadmair
• Faupinudmair

Ghastports

In November 2025, Xarslasja's first Ghastport was completed - the Yuma Ghastport 4-Port Hub at 201 Djaxeu Zlom, at the northernmost point of the city. The ghastport in Ashton, Muwewesja Ghastport, is the largest, with 6 ghast bays.

  • take the M25 north from the Yuma CenRail
• Coconino County Ghastport, Flagstaff (2-port)
  • take the main street north from Flagstaff CenRail
• Blue River Ghastport, San Tan Valley (2-port)
  • take the X30 to the Pua-Xarslasja border at the Blue River
• Muwewesja Ghastport, Ashton (6-port)
  • take the west bridge from Thunan Ngace to Ashton
• Carefree Ghastport, Anthem (2-port)
  • take the X19 south from Ash Fork CenRail
• Far Harbor Ghastport, Far Harbor (2-port)
  • it's one of the only three things on the island

Nether Access

There are two legal End Portals in Xarslasja, and one illegal portal that keeps appearing south of Ashton no matter how many times it's destroyed.
