Amuj (Full name: The City State of Amuj, Sesje: Hâg Äḍ́ŷť́ Çamû [hɒɡ ˈɐ.ᶯɖəⁿʨ ˈʧɑ.mᵻ], Vidish: Þaþ Porkrīhi af Amī [θaθ ˈpork.riː.xi af ˈa.miː]) is a member state of the United Ŋations. It comprises territory east of Murbetia, west of Aylongam, and on the northern coast of the Amujan Sea (Sesje: Epâmû Aaŋ [ˈɛ.pɒ.ˌmᵻ ɑːŋ], Vidish: Amīsh Sæ [ˈa.misx sæ]). Its most prominent feature is the Cenrail® station, which lets passengers go to and arrive from the Cenrail® Fish and Southern Lines.

Divisions

Amuj is split into 4 subdivisions: Amuj Town (Sesje: Amû Haamâṣ [ˈɑ.mᵻ ˈhɑː.mɒʂ] or Amäs [ˈɑ.mɐs], Vidish: Amīpē [ˈa.miː.peː]), South Amuj Island (Sesje: Kebâmû Aac [ˈkɛ.bɒ.ˌmᵻ ɑːʤ], Vidish: Sudamī Ēlant [su.ˈda.miː ˈeː.lant]), Pfoas (Sesje: Pfoos [p͡ɸoːs] or Pfoos Çamû [p͡ɸoːs ˈʧɑ.mᵻ], Vidish: Pfōs [pfoːs] or Pfōs Amīs [pfoːs ˈa.miːs]), and Ongashaw (Sesje: Ëŋ́êšâ [ʌ.ŋ̊æ.ʃɒ], Vidish: Ongæxō [oŋ.gæ.ʃoː]). Amujton and South Amuj Island are separated by the Mid-Amuj River (Sesje: Säŋŋû Mwaçê [ˈsɐ.ŋːᵻ ˈmwɑ.ʧæ], Vidish: Midamijō [ˈmi.da.mi.joː]), Pfoas is separated from Amujton by a savannah biome, and Ongashaw is separated from Amujton and Pfoas by the North Amuj River (Sesje: Nwwçâmû Mwaçê [ˈnuː.t͡ʃɒ.mᵻ ˈmwɑ.ʧæ], Vidish: Nordamijō [ˈnor.da.mi.joː]). Alongside ðese 4, there is the Amujan colony of Mawg (Sesje: Mäġ [mɐɢ], Vidish: Mōg [ˈmoːɡ]) and the Extranguhcraftial territory of Jawjud (Sesje: Cäcŵd [ˈʤɐ.ʤʊd], Vidish: Jōjud [ˈʤoː.ʤud])

Amuj Town

Amuj Town, officially considered to be the Amujan mainland, is the division which contains the original rectangular core of the ŋation, aptly named "CMC's former base". In addition, Amuj Town also includes the Amujan Copper Store, a storage room for stone and related items, and the Amuj Train Station.

South Amuj Island

South Amuj Island is the second division of Amuj, located across the Mid-Amuj river from Amuj Town. Currently, the only building on South Amuj Island is a storage room for wooden and other tree related items, as the rest of the island is blocked off by a forest and a jungle.

Pfoas

Pfoas is the third division of Amuj, located north of Amujton. It currently only contains the Bargainstock store, which sells unused items for bargain prices.

Ongashaw

Ongashaw is the fourth division of Amuj, located on an island to the west of Amujton and Pfoas, and connected to Amujton via a bridge across the North Amuj River. It is currently empty, with the Kachbuches having no idea what to put there.

History

Pre-Amuj

Before the establishment of Amuj as it is today, the area that would become Amuj was simply known as "CMC's base". It was only upon hearing of the 7th UŊ meeting approaching that CMC decided to upgrade their base into a ŋation, which was then accepted into the UŊ.

Amujan Expansionism

Immediately after being accepted into the UŊ, CMC started to expand the Amujan borders, increasing its size until it was roughly the size of what's now called Amujton. It was only once South Amuj Island was incorporated into the ŋation that Amujan Expansionism slowed down for a while. A bit more than a week later, however, the Kachbuches decided to expand the Amujan territory even more, expanding Amujton up to the savannah to its north, and then going further, creating the division of Pfoas, formerly known as North Amujton or Bofas. It then took the CMC a bit more than two months to finally expand the Amujan mainland, after having already added both a colony and an extranguhcraftial territory to the list of Amujan federal subjects. This new expansion was to what's now called Ongashaw.

Government

Amuj's form of government is that of a City State, with CMC at its helm, being given the title of Kachbuches (Sesje: Kaçbuç [ˈkɑʧ.bᵻʧ], Vidish: Kacbucar [kaʧ.ˈbu.ʧar], from Sesje Kaçbü̂ť [ˈkɑʧ.bᵿʨ], lit. "country head person"). As of the time of writing, the Kachbuches operate from within their new base which acts as a sort of government building. Any and all decisions made by the Kachbuches are voted on in headspace, and the result is announced by the current Representative of the Kachbuches, who mostly happens to be Iris CMC, the host of the CMC, although Ian CMC, Iris' second-in-command, may also represent the Kachbuches at times.
