The Ŋafrican Nuclear Crisis is a series of events that pitted Enkavak and wider ŊATO against Adnar and Avenyam. It caused significant loss of life and destruction in Adnar and to a lesser extent Avenyam, as well as enormous reputational damage for ŊATO, and the distancing of Imerchal from the organisation.

Leadup

On 10 April 2026, Adnaran singer-songwriter Propaganda Boi sent an e-mail to sendme@a.nuke.gg while standing in front of Makdonulds in Enkavak[1], because the restaurant did not send his requested order on the basis of missing location data. As per its usual protocol, the address sent several nukes towards the location indicated by the data of the e-mail, which was Alnaŋaemak. Atlantic missile defence systems deflected the nukes over Sofao Tâsi, and hacked the e-mail address in question, discovering the identity of the sender to be Propaganda Boi before pulling the plug on the operation, shutting down the majority of the 31 nukes sent to Adnar by an Adnaran throwaway e-mail in the process. Following this, Enkavak sent an ultimatum to Adnar ordering the handover of Propaganda Boi for the attempted nuking, which Adnar refused.

Negotiations

Initially, Adnar appeared to be willing to comply, sending an individual identified as Propaganda Boi[2]. However, this turned out to be a fake[3], and Adnar proceeded to attempt to make excuses for this, stating that it had been a mistake and that his id had been forgotten. During the negotiations, Adnar threatened the safety of Atlantic POWs it did not possess[4], as Enkavak repeatedly threatened war for non-compliance.[5][6] When the fake was identified and Adnar refused the request for handover an additional time, Enkavak declared war on Adnar on 11th April 2026 and invoked Gulf Union Article III.3 and ŊATO Ŋarticle V, calling upon all its allies in a defensive war based on the attempted nuking.

Following the war declaration, Adnar finally agreed to hand over Propaganda Boi[7], at which point Enkavak demanded to be able to perform an investigation on Adnaran internet traffic and Weapons of Mass Destruction, and the handover of said weapons to ŊATO, so as to prevent a repeat of the situation.[8] Adnagaporp rejected these additional demands, and negotiations broke down[9].

Bombing

Following the breakdown of negotiations, the general interŋational opinion was one of disapproval towards Adnar.[10][11][12] As such, most ŋations called upon by Article III.3 and Ŋarticle V agreed to it, with the notable exception of Araçana[13]. Most of these would not get involved the fighting, however. Following these events, Supreme Leader Adnagaporp disappeared, having apparently been kidnapped.[14] and Enkavak bombed Adnar on three occasions, destroying the West Ðoòng Sơn (AAW) station, the e-mail servers of Adnar and civilian infrastructure, killing 12 Amoguses.
