Operation Bezuv Shield is an ongoing military operation conducted by East Pua within Xarslasja.

Siege of Shea Island

Part of the 3st Puna Peere Fleet was sent to blockade the Shea Island Naval Complex on October 15th, 2024. The force consisted of 4 ships; the flagship FRV Beanpole, the FRV Beetle, the FRV Death and the FRV Conscription. The FRV Conscription was diverted to run counter siege operations further west in the Djobom Sea. The three remaining ships of the task force successfully besieged Shea Island for 10 days leading up to the Battle for Shea Island.

Battle for Shea Island

On the morning of October 25th at around 7:30AM Arizona Time, the FRV Death was fired upon by defensive weapons on the northern side of Shea Island. However, due to the actions of East Puan sappers the first salvo was a complete failure and caused significant damage to the northern defenses causing the XPA forces to scramble to build a new TNT cannon. The FRV Death returned fire causing some minor exterior damage and major damage within the walls of the complex before finally succumbing to the TNT cannon fire and sinking. The FRV Beetle was fired upon from the southern defenses but many of the initial shots missed entirely. The FRV Beetle returned fire and made many direct impacts on the western and southern walls before also succumbing to the fire from the defenses. The compliment of Marine forces on the FRV Beanpole were sent through the hole in the exterior wall nearby and after some fierce fighting were able to successfully capture the naval complex. After the capture of the complex the FRV Beanpole remained nearby to support the humanitarian efforts.

The Siege of Arcosanti

The FRV Conscription was diverted from her sister ships to run counter-siege operations in the hopes of breaking the siege. These operations lasted from October 18th to October 25th when the Battle of Djobom Sea occurred.

Battle of Djobom Sea

The FRV Conscription recieved word from the FRV Beanpole that the XPA forces were attempting a breakout of Shea Island but it was too late to divert her to support the battle. Shortly after that XPA ground forces began firing upon the FRV Conscription from the shore, however, many of their shots missed and hit the nearby Twanlandic ship, the TSSh Beans, instead, sinking it. The XPA ship west of the Conscription began firing and also largely missed. The most critical damage occurred following numerous unsuccessful attempts by XPA marine forces to board the ship. The final attempt was successful and they planted a bomb in the captain's cabin but it was successfully defused. Following this the XPA troops planted a secondary bomb in the bilge which was detonated and the ship was heavily damaged but remained afloat.

Battle of Flagstaff

East Puan marine forces were sent alongside XLA and Shudrowen military forces to follow Gu Sabah's retreat and attempt to capture him leading to small skirmishes at a number of XPA fortifications. The chase culminated in a devastating battle in Flagstaff. The battle was a draw and East Puan forces reconsolidated in Xarslasja and began humanitarian and peacekeeping operations.
