World War 2, also known as World War II, is a war started by Lavvakcesaa in February 2026.
History
Background
Threats towards other ŋations by Saquuaca Vilderu
World War 2 was started on 1 February 2026 by Lavvakcesaan Marigold Corporation CEO Saquuaca Vilderu. He sent the entire known ŋorld a notice that they would have to pay a tax of 5 diamond blocks or get invaded. Immediately, New Maeksikeo, whom shares a land border with Lavvakcesaa through the Newmoon Forest, took great offense, as New Maeksikeo generally, and the Newmoon Forest in particular, is inhabited by many Tukisagyan rabbits, and the email in question used the word "bunny" as a slur.[1] First Officer Tifa Kerʉnka, steward of the Newmoon Forest district, called Vilderi's bluff and sent a notice saying that while they wish peace, if they invade, they will receive the full power of Kardonian technology.[2] Other ŋations also resisted, such as Enkavak sending a receipt for a massive MakDonulds order.[3]
Meanwhile, a reporter named Nate Biangfox made repeated attempts to escape Vilderu's control and ask for help. Vilderu captured Biangfox. In his rage at the rebellious act, he upped the tax to 7 diamond blocks and intentionally misgendered Biangfox, a notable act considering the language he was speaking in doesn't have gendered pronouns. This resulted in further resistant responses all around, including but not limited to First Officer Kerʉnka calling Vilderu a coward and daring him to try and invade their country.
Declarations of war and initiation of the conflict
On 2 February, a simultaneous declaration of war was issued[4] by Lavvakcesaa towards 18 different countries. These countries included several members of ŊATO and the Gulf Union. The following morning, the articles requiring mutual defense in the treaties of those organizations were invoked by Enkavak and the Free City of Yetch Bay, respectively. This drew every remaining member of each organization which had not yet been at war with Lavvakcesaa into a war against them.
Currently, there are a staggering 33 ŋations formally at war with Lavvakcesaa: Adaria, Adnar, Coldba, Enkavak, Hajdislant, Kaipa, Keltechra, Kıltmo, Kozdenen, Krīpetēpla, the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen, New Maeksikeo, Myžariky, Rauratoshan, Sofao Tâsi, T'anshilebs and the Free City of Yetch Bay were all simultaneously implicated by the inital declaration, and Araçana, Chielbary, Dróstsiśtsi, I Êpcêm Mûn-nan, Fenizuela, Hummland, the United Ildorgear State, Maize, MápabaL, Maraśa, Nāroňpār, Riyelum, Ukoŋia, Wekañu Skefo, and Xtrakva declared war via the invocation of the ŊATO and Gulf Union treaties as a result. War was additionally declared by Lavvakcesaa against Cataw, but the government of Cataw officially declared its own neutrality in spite of this, because Lavvakcesaa had no way to actually act on that declaration.
