List of Notable Biomes of Notable Size

This is a list of biomes in the Nguhcraft server that are deemed to be notable and are of notable size (i.e. are the smallest or largest of that particular biome) . A notable biome is defined as follows:

1. A "notable" biome cannot have more than 1.5% average surface coverage on a default Minecraft world (ex: Plains biomes are excluded because their average surface coverage is 10.63%)
2. A "notable" biome cannot be a variant of a biome with more than 1.5% average surface coverage on a default Minecraft world (ex: Sunflower Plains biomes are excluded because they are a variant of the Plains biome)
3. A "notable" biome cannot be predominantly aquatic (ex: All Ocean biomes are excluded because they are aquatic)
4. A "notable" biome cannot be a transitionary biome that exclusively generates on the periphery of some other biome (ex: Snowy Slopes biomes are excluded because they exclusively generate on the periphery of mountain biomes)
5. A "notable" biome cannot be a typically underground biome (ex: Dripstone Caves biomes are excluded because they primarily generate underground)

The Old Growth Pine Taiga biomes and Old Growth Spruce Taiga biomes are considered together as the Old Growth Taiga category due to their similarity and tendency to generate in close proximity. Similarly, the Windswept Gravelly Hills, Windswept Forest, and Windswept Hills biomes are all considered together as the Windswept category.

Notably Large Biomes

The following table lists the largest of each biome that this list considers "notable". The approximate size is to be listed in m² and rounded to the nearest 1,000 m² unless exact measurements can be provided. The location is measured as the approximate center of the biome rounded to the nearest 100 blocks. If rounding to the nearest 100 blocks results in the location falling outside of the biome, round to the nearest 50. If the location is still outside of the biome, round to the nearest 10, then 5.

The approximate size is to be listed in m² and rounded to the nearest 10 m² unless exact measurements can be provided. The minimum size for a biome to be considered eligible for this list is 25 m²; anything smaller is considered a worldgen error. The location is measured as the approximate center of the biome rounded to the nearest 100 blocks. If rounding to the nearest 100 blocks results in the location falling outside of the biome, round to the nearest 50. If the location is still outside of the biome, round to the nearest 10, then 5.
